Senior Manager, Bihar
Base Location: Patna
Aangan is seeking a passionate Senior Manager to lead programs aimed at enhancing child safety and protection in Bihar. This role involves developing systemic solutions, fostering dialogue between communities and the police, and managing stakeholder relationships. Strong leadership, operational excellence, and a commitment to sustainable impact are key. Preference will be given to female candidates due to the nature of the work. Candidate will be based out of Patna, with frequent travel in Bihar.

Aangan is seeking a dynamic leader to head a project focused on preventing child harm across three districts in Jharkhand: Pakur, Dumka, and Jamtara. As the Sr. Manager, you will manage a team, build partnerships with local officials, and implement strategies to create safe environments for children. This position offers the opportunity to drive large-scale change through collaboration with schools and communities. The role involves frequent travel and hands-on fieldwork. Candidate will be based in Kolkata, with frequent travel to districts in Jharkhand.
Senior Research Manager, Knowledge & Impact (Policy Research)
Base Location: Delhi
The role is responsible for managing primary and secondary research including, development of study design, developing questionnaires and databases, and other research-related tasks, evidence syntheses (e.g. literature reviews, portfolio reviews, learning papers, quantitative and qualitative data gathering, meta-analysis) to generate meaningful insights for a diverse group of recipients, including funders, program teams, government and non-government stakeholders.
Program Associate, Jharkhand
Base Location: Kolkata or Ranchi, with extensive travel to Dumka, Jamtara and Pakur (Jharkhand)
Our program in Jharkhand needs a competent and motivated Program Associates to join our team. The individual will have the opportunity to be part of a program that builds platforms or child safety systems in schools to facilitate dialogue between empowered community women groups and school authorities like principals and teachers to ensure children are in schools, safe and supported.
Program Associate, Bihar
Base Location: Patna
Aangan is seeking a dedicated Program Associate, who will work closely with marginalized communities in Bihar, empowering women and girls to address their safety concerns. The role involves coaching them/ holding conversations around child safety while negotiating with key local stakeholders, such as community leaders and the police officials, to implement sustainable safety solutions. If you have experience in training, facilitation, child safety - issues and related laws, and community engagement, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. Base location of office will be in Patna, with frequent travel within Bihar is a must.
Training Support, Jharkhand
Base Location: Jharkhand
​We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide logistical and coordination support for training programs at the district/ block level. Responsibilities include translating training content, coordinating with community volunteers, managing training inventory and materials, coordination with local vendors for arranging sessions ad logistics, and maintaining programmatic database. You will also support fieldwork, manage volunteer reimbursements, and handle logistical tasks like car requisitions. If you have strong coordination skills and a passion for building safer environments for children to thrive, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution. Candidate will be based in Kolkata, with frequent travel to Jharkhand.
